The Coffee Break has the best coffee I’ve ever had at a shop that hasn’t gone along with the third wave vibe. Lots of work space and natural light, in a pretty part of town. The best drink, if you’re looking for something on the sweet side, is the Borgia latte. (Dark chocolate and orange :) )
Wonderful breakfast (Sausage gravey is homemade and out of this world Peanutbuter pie! Dardie and Edwin have a perfect place to stop and eat breakfast or grab a pie or cake for a family get together! Highly recommend this beautiful place!!
Edwin not only provides a one of a kind dining experience, but also makes the best food on this side of the Mississippi. You have have to come here if your around.
The Coffee Break’s Maple Nut Crunch coffee is one of the best cups of coffee I have had in a while! I also sampled their lunch special which was meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas, and a biscuit. All of it was delicious! I would definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone who is in Shelbyville and is looking for a good place for breakfast, lunch, or just a good cup of coffee!
