WE RENTED A RUN DOWN TRAILER WHERE U CAN SEE THE SUN THROUGH CRACKS IN FLOOR AND WALL AND WINDOWS ARE OVERLAYED DUCT TAPED OVER CRACKED BROKE DOWN WINDOWS AND YOU MAY ASK WHY WE DIDN'T MOVE WHEN WE REALIZED WHAT A DUMP NORMAN HAD RENTED US....BECAUSE HE KEPT PROMISING TO FIX UP A BETTER TRAILER FOR US. so he added a room to a unit up front and every time me and my kids drove past we were so hopeful and kept believing how EVERY WEEK WHEN WE WERE ON TIME WITH THE RENT GIVING NORMAN GARDNER OUR HARD EARNED MONEY HE ASSURED US IT WOULD BE SOON READY FOR US TO MOVE INTO AND HE ACTUALLY REMODELED IT VERY NICELY. but all of a sudden TODAY IS TUESDAY AND WE PAID RENT SATURDAY WITH NORM STILL SAYING WE WOULD BE IN THAT NICER TRAILER BY MONTHS END but now today this sorry lying old BASTARD tells us not only will he not rent the new place to us BUT WE HAVE 30 DAYS TO GET OUT OF THIS DUMP HE HAS LIED TO US TO KEEP US IN FOR ALMOST A YEAR. HE CLAIMS IT'S BECAUSE HE HAS HAD TO DO TOO MANY REPAIRS ( UHH...YEAH EVERYTHING IN THIS DUMP FROM FAUCETS TO A COMPLETELY UNUSABLE SINK TO 2 TOILETS THAT HAVE KONKED OUT HAD TO BE FIXED IN ORDER FOR US TO EVEN LIVE HERE AT ALL) AND HE SAYS HE HAS SUDDENLY SOLD ALL HIS UNITS. I EVEN WENT THROUGH A PREGNANCY AND BROUGHT MY NEWBORN HOME TO THIS DUMP BECAUSE I BELIEVED NORMAN GARDNER WAS REALLY BEING HONEST ABOUT HELPING US GET INTO A BETTER PLACE. NOW MY FAMILY AND 4 KIDS HAVE ONLY 30 DAYS TO FIND A HOME WHEN IF HE WOULD JUST HAVE BEEN HONEST AND SAID HE WANTED TO MAKE MORE MONEY OFF THE NEW PLACE BY CHARGING MORE RENT OR SELLING IT TO MEXICANS WHO COULD FINISH THE REMODEL JOB THEMSELVES SO NORM WOULDN'T HAVE TO HIRE ANYONE TO DO IT THEN MY FAMILY WOULD HAVE HAD THIS WHOLE YEAR TO GET OUT OF THIS SHACK AND FIND A DECENT HOME. Poor lighting, lack of direction signs, needs paving, either make vacant units habitable or remove (eye sores), questionable people allowed on property (safety concerns ), nice entry to property deceiving, lack of security patrolling, laundry facilities on premises would be a bonus, part-time maintenance person on-site would be a bonus. Update : improved lighting, fewer unknowns on property, noticeable security, lot rents uncomparable. I've lived in many places but never in places as I do now, owned vs rented & may have not taken a lot of my critique into consideration at first review. I understand the owners are not present (so I have been told), & all or most of the responsibilities of managing this property basically falls upon the shoulders of one Manager, which to me explains the not so flattering review I first reported. This Manager/landlord/jack-of-all-trades, simply needs help. To me, he is the nicest, accommodating, friendly, hard working, caring, dedicated, over worked man who does the best that he can with what he has to work with. Never have I heard him complain, make excuses, talk bad about anyone plus so much more. He must really love his job/career, & the tenants he cares for daily. I hope Mr. N. Gardner is well compensated by his employer's & appreciated by them & all tenants as well. I also wish this update could be posted for all to see & realize that people's perceptions can be changed with finding more knowledge, insight, & have the capacity to admit they didn't take a lot of this new found knowledge into consideration when first reporting their opinions because they didn't have that knowledge.
