I have an over weight, 12 year old, long haired cat named Smokey. Due to his size he has a hard time grooming his lower back and trends to get matted. He usually gets shaved with his dental cleaning every year. This year I took him to Northside for a sedation and shave. He was still loopy when we got home and couldn't stand up. The next morning he was unable to use his rear legs. I rushed him back first thing. His temperature was extremely low and he was distraught. They kept him in an incubator and gave him some warm SubQ fluids. They called me through out the day with updates and they showed great concern. I was a wreck. His temperature returned to normal and he retained strength in his rear legs. Because of his age and weight, it took him longer to recover from the anesthesia. To top it off, they didn't charge me a dime for all of the love and care they gave him. I can't thank the staff enough. Northpoint has a client for life and I will recommend them anytime.
The Staff and Vets here are professional, friendly and the facility is totally awesome - and above all they LOVE animals!
