I've been trying contact Regions Bank for almost 2 hours. I've tried 4 different phone numbers. All I want to do is talk to a person at my local bank to make an appointment with a loan officer. 3 of the numbers I've called are all automated service numbers through Regions Corp. The 4th number was no longer in service. Twice I was put on hold with a wait time greater than 15 minutes. Unsuccessfully, I've searched the internet to get the phone number for my local bank. This is ridiculous. I've logged onto my personal acct. via the internet thinking I would find the phone number for my local bank. NOPE! ' just so aggravated at this point. I've given them a 1 star rating. In reality it would be half a star. the only reason for the half star is the fact that I can find three 800 numbers. Of course I would be on hold but, at least I have that!
I have banked with Regions for over 25 years but they are about to lose me unless they improve their customer service. It is ridiculous that you can no longer call your local branch and speak with a living person. Their current customer service line consists of an endless commercial of voice messages but no service. After holding for extended periods multiple times, I have given up.
My company banks here, I had a bad experience in the drive thru window and tried to call about it, you can no longer reach the local branch. So after holding for 15mins. on the 800#, I gave up. I went in today with our weekly deposit and tried to speak with someone about what happened last week. She interrupted me and immediately started explaining away, so I just asked for a number to reach a person so if we have any problem with the deposits we, as a company, can speak to a live person immediately. She did comply with that request but had an attitude about it- I will never give them my personal business. They can't even spell customer service and have completely lost all sense of small town loyalty. Very sad that so many banks have gone the way of "corporate America", but it will eventually catch up to them. If you are in Shelbyville, stick to First Community Bank or Heritage, they are much better at appreciating your business.

I do wish they were open a little later, I do miss that from the credit union. But it has a credit union feel with the perks of a regional bank
