My family and I didn't have a positive experience with a particular Heritage Realty Group agent, Darin Hasty, represented the seller of our home. After being in our home over a year, we learned the fence to the east of our property was 40 ft., encroaching on the neighboring lot. We realize now the importance of getting a survey when you by a home, and legally Mr. Hasty is covered by the fine print located in the closing documents however morally speaking, it was an epic fail on his part. My advice to anyone buying a new home, always get the survey, also ask for any deed restrictions, and finally always be aware that not all agents are honest, due your homework and check out your agent to see if they have had complaints filed against them.
